WINEMAKER'S NOTE
93 points Wine Spectator: Wonderful intensity and purity of flavors, with ripe, juicy plum, black cherry and wild berry fruit, with hints of currant, anise, fresh earth and herbal notes. It's tightly wound and sharply focused, finishing with a long, rich, persistent aftertaste. Drink now through 2012. (11/15/04)

International Wine CellarRating: 87(+?) - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 118, January/Feburary 2005. ($70) Bright medium ruby. Aromas of blackberry, blueberry and violet. Juicy, leanish and unevolved if densely packed, with tightly wound flavors of black fruits and violet. Showing limited complexity today but this very fresh wine may well evolve and deepen with time in bottle. This could hardly be more different in style from the winery's regular 2001 cabernet.

Wine.comThis offering is immediately attractive with richly floral aromas of crushed flowers, violet and ripe cherry. The texture of this wine is generously fruity and delightfully silky with flavors of blackberry, blueberry and toasty oak. This classic Cabernet Sauvignon has outstanding balance with a long supple finish and good structure that lends to the age worthiness of this wine.
