International Wine CellarInky ruby in appearance, but nowhere near as dark as the freakishly black '01 normale. Sweet and sexy aromas of very ripe red cherry, prune jam and mocha display enough depth to promise further development. Rich and tasty on entry, with enjoyable if somewhat overripe red cherry and mocha flavors that carry through on the moderately long finish. Not a particularly deep wine, but soft tannins and smooth texture make it an enjoyable glass of Brunello.
