Here is a mid-sized Merlot that eschews strength and evident extract in favor of polish. Its mild black-cherry themes are given a lift by slightly creamy oak, and, if tending a little to dryness at the finish, it is a pleasant, lightly tannic and wholly useful wine for near- to mid-term drinking.
