Amazingly approachable for a young YC; intense spice/pepper, chewy tannins, balanced fruit and acid; wonderful dusty fruit, but very heavy; peppery, minerally, herbal nose; classic black cherry, anise, licorice; dense, penetrating aromas; a very ripe YC; highly concentrated jammy blueberry; some typically bulky Spring Mountain tannins; really dark forest floor notes; dark floral components; very masculine in character.
