Winemaker’s Comments: The colour is a brilliant dark red displaying vibrant purple hues. The aroma is of white pepper and berry fruit spice aromas underpinned by lovely sweet vanillin American Oak nuances. The palate is medium-bodied, spicy, with good oak characteristics evident on the middle palate. Spicy, peppery fruit characters dominate the early palate, with a nice tannin grip evident on the finish. Suggested Food: BBQ fillet with red wine and chilli mustard marinade. Cellaring: 5-7 years.
