100% Primitivo that was harvested in early September and aged in 2-5 year old barriques for 6 months prior to bottling. Dense Scarlet red in color with a red-purple rim. Exhibits complex, rich and spicy aromas with attractive sweet and sour notes. On the palate the wine has a sweet, rich attack with dark red berry fruit and spice as well as solid, balanced tannins.
