beautiful nose. bit of must, barnyard and earth nose. very smooth wine w long finish. had a hard time nailing flavor profile. aube chocolate but couldn't pin it down. a great wine but not unforgettable. day 2. opened up more and was silkier and smoother.

black berries, plum, cedar. what an amazing bottle of wine. would like another.

1999 was better but could have been due to store neglect. Will try again
