International Wine CellarDeep red-ruby. A bit less exuberant on the nose than the Cos ta Russi, hinting at plum, mocha, chocolate, underbrush and minerals. Less showy today than the Costa Russi but perhaps even longer, with more powerful tannins. This really calls for at least seven or eight years of additional bottle aging.

Antonio GalloniRating: 95/100 - As reviewed by Piedmont Report in Issue 5, October 2005 Dark ruby. Delicate, aromatic nose of flowers, spices, minerals and menthol.
