(from vines in Charmes-Dessus aged in 50% new oak). Classy and quite fine, in fact a good deal finer than the Boucheres with flavors which are chewy and have an almost tannic quality to them. There is a deft touch of wood on the astonishingly long finish with plenty of precision and intensity. This is knock out quality stuff in the context of the vintage.

Subtle aromas of peach, lemon, hazelnut and vanilla. Fat, supple and sweet, with a succulent flavor of ripe peach. A step up in concentration from the Embrazees. Finishes very long and spicy. An excellent showing today.
