The 2001 Mas Selleles has a dark red color and a complex, fleshy nose of layered fruit, spice, herbs and toasted oak. Cabernet and Merlot give the wine its structure and a lingering finish while the Syrah softens the tannins. This aromatic and balanced wine ends with a fruit driven finish. This very well balanced wine is ready to drink but can be aged in a cool cellar for 5 to 10 years. Blend: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah, 20% Merlot
