Medium bright ruby. Primary aromas of very ripe, smoky red plum, redcurrant and licorice, plus a hint of cream soda. Crisp and bright, with impressive sweetness and a strong mineral tone to the red berry flavors. Though it relies mostly on its upfront charm rather than on any profound complexity, this eminently enjoyable wine finishes effusively fruity, sappy and persistent. I found it hard to put down the glass.

Silky soft tannins. Fruity without being cloying. Easy to drink yet multi-layered.
