The Chardonnays grown in the Marlborough Region are justly considered the country's finest. Vinification of Cloudy Bay Chardonnay includes aging on the lees, malolactic fermentation and maturation in French oak. The result is a full-bodied wine, with complex, enticing aromas and flavors and a creamy, full palate. It can be enjoyed at release or aged for greater complexity.
