The deep colored Meritage shows abundant aromatics of dried black cherry, currant, ripe blackberry, spicy cedar, cocoa dust and a hint of vanilla. Flavor characteristics are black fruit focused, rich and concentrated and legantly proportioned with sweet oak and supple tannins.
