If taking its time before finding real fruit in its initially muddied, faintly coffee-like nose, this clean, mid-sized Merlot offers up fairly direct cherry and raspberry flavors with a touch of oak thrown into the mix. It is less than lengthy, however, and its drops away to a dry and slightly stiff finish.
