Bright medium ruby. Cool but superripe aromas of black cherry, minerals and game. Fat, supersweet and hugely ripe, with nearly porty black fruit flavors. The alcohol here is a California-like 14%. Big, dense and chewy, with uncanny depth for the vintage. Finishes with major tannins and superb length.
