Wine.comThe wine is strongly coloured, dense, exuberant, violent even in its youth, but marvellously resistant to the passage of time. As the years go by, it becomes smooth and velvety, whilst still retaining its generous structure. Love the spicy, nutmeg and floral nose to this. Medium-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and a medium finish. Tight now, but should come around. Should be a bit better. Best after 2007. -Wine Spectator

DecanterRating: 2/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Good ripe damson fruit, which is nicely warm spicy and rich. A touch woody and hard on the palate. Drink 2004. (tasted en primeur)
