Medium ruby. Flamboyant nose combines black raspberry, mocha, licorice and smoky, spicy oak. Concentrated, fleshy and silky in texture, but quite lively and perfumed. A very suave wine with nicely judged extraction and harmonious acidity. Long and vinous on the finish, which features sweet, even tannins. This offers superb potential.
