WINEMAKER'S NOTE
"75% Merlot; 17% Cabernet Sauvignon; 7% Malbec. Loads of very rich oak sits atop a generous measure of chocolate-tinged cherries in the broad and ever so slightly briary aromas of this one, and the wine shows a similar oaky bias to its like-minded flavors. Medium-full and fairly supple in feel, it firms as it goes owing to its nominal tannins and to a scant twist of last-minute acid, and its rich but relentless oak finishes a few steps ahead of its fruit."
