Deep, full red with a hint of brick at the rim. Nose developing reasonably quickly, showing ripe berry and plum fruits along with dark chocolate, clove, cinnamon, earth, spices and leather. In an old-fashioned Australian "Burgundy" style: rich, sumptuous, smooth and tarry, with a nutty, savory finish of soft tannins.
