Deep red. Clean, fruity aromas of cherry, raspberry, licorice and minerals. Slightly austere black cherry and licorice flavors. Aromatic in the mouth thanks to sound acids, but the texture is rather ungiving for '99. Finishes with firm tannins and good length.
