Good bright red. Fruity aromas of blackberry, violet, licorice and dark chocolate. A pretty wine with moderate delineation and ripeness; on the lean side, with a hint of green acidity pinching the fruit on the back half. The finish features slightly drying tannins and a late hint of cocoa. Seemed to grow riper as it opened in the glass.
