International Wine CellarRoasted aromas of black cherry and smoke. Less fat but more spicy in the mouth, with superb richness. Superripe suggestion of beefsteak tomato. More firmly built than the '97, but nearly as rich. Finishes with huge, palate-coating but ripe tannins and outstanding length.
