The nose is big and intense with ripe Cabernet fruit and a complement of oak. The complex aroma has blackberry, black cherry, chocolate, vanilla bean, plum, and black currant. The velvety entry has vanilla and oak with soft, seductive tannins and mouth-coating density. The wine has long aging potential and should be decanted if served before 2002.
