Dark red. Aromas of strawberry eau de vie, redcurrant, tobacco and eucalyptus. Juicy, bright, slightly tart-edged red berry flavors. Still a bit closed in on itself and dominated by its structure. But this is more intensely flavored than the '98 Red Rock, and finishes with finer tannins.
