79% Cabernet Sauvignon; 17% Merlot; 2% Cabernet Franc; 2% Petit Verdot. We count ourselves among the most enthu-siastic fans of the 1997 Tapestry and are more than a little bit disappointed by its successor. There is an early stab at richness delivered by a nice note of sweet oak and suggestions of ripe cherries in both nose and flavors, but those flavors stall out by mid-palate and fade away to a drying finish that is underscored by blunting tannins.
