International Wine CellarDeep blackish-ruby. Focused, penetrating aromas of caramel, chocolate, plum and vanilla. Round and caressing on the palate, sweet and silky; flavors of plum and raspberry. Offers lovely texture and volume on the back half. Very elegant and very long, finishing with classy tannins.

BigmarTasted by SMagowan on 12/25/2011 & rated 99 points: WOW. This has a near perfect nose balancing fruit, a hint of oak, some fresh tobacco notes, earth and a whisp of menthol. On the tongue it is like a fire that does not scorch but only warms ever so gently until a lasting finish of 30 - 45 seconds caresses your mouth, ears and the back of the head. It tastes of black cheery, light light oak, and soft delicious tannins. A grand experience for a Christmas dinner of prime rib. Bravo! (1087 views)
