Rating: 89/100 - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 93, November/December 2000 Deep, bright ruby-red. Aromas of dark berry liqueur and fine Corinthian leather; distinctly bretty. Very rich, sweet and leathery, with a slight dryness in the mouth. Finishes quite long, with chewy, unrefined tannins. Big, wild cabernet with no shortage of personality.

Style: Elegance on the grand scale Tasting Notes: Massive, concentrated fruit with great aging potential, classic proportions and sumptuous depth. Successive vintages have become less tannic and more refined.
