Rating: 89/100 - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 90, May/June 2000 Good medium ruby. Briary blackberry, black cherry, mocha, cinnamon, mace and a hint of menthol on the nose. Thick, rich and layered, with superripe black fruit and dark chocolate flavors and a primary, grapey aspect. Chewy and dense yet rather approachable for this wine. Finishes with substantial but ripe tannins.
