Chateau Peybonhommes-les-Tours is a bright red color with purple notes, with earthy, dried cherry aromas, bright, high-toned fruit flavors of cherry and raspberry. Soft, medium-bodied, with good length and depth, it is a perfect Bordeaux (or even the ubiquitously fashionable Merlot!) for everyday drinking. The 1997 is particularly successful, with a delightful fruit-forward character and a lush, velvety texture in the finish.
