International Wine CellarRating: 89/100 - As reviewed by International Wine Cellar in Issue 89, March/April 2000. Full red. The most aromatic of these '97s today, with notes of plum, cherry, bacon fat, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sweetly oaky, thick and nicely concentrated; cherry and spice flavors are firmer and brighter than some of the other '97 Rousseau bottlings. Offers the harmonious texture of the vintage. Finishes persistent and firm.
User Tasting Note
jqspystood alongside the la tache holding its own as a more feminine version. again amazing complexity in nose and finish.
