International Wine CellarSaturated, solid ruby-black. Powerful nose of blackcurrants, blackberries, sweet herbs, and vanilla; focused and penetrating. Rich and potent in flavor, with concentrated cassis fruit of impeccable ripeness. Complementary notes of chocolate and tar. Sumptuous and authoritative; iron and velvet in perfect symbiosis. Antinori CEO is Renzo Cotarella, a professional winemaker with a doctorate in chemistry-a telling indication of the firm's priorities.

bccdnynear perfect to drink. like the first time daddy gave me a glass of wine he had aged for a long time - it was a French bordaeux, but the same velvety goodness going down. hard to describe. I can only hope that the btls that I have that r 15-40 yrs old r like that when I crack em open. <br/>
