WINEMAKER'S NOTE
The wine has a rather deep colour with a garnet tint and an open, generous bouquet displaying vanilla and wild berry aromas together with a spicier note reminiscent of nutmeg. The solid and powerful body, typical of the vintage, builds on forward but well-rounded tannins which give a rich structure combined with dense and varied flavours, including well-integrated oak. The expansive finish expresses all the character, generosity and size of a great Pauillac.

International Wine CellarDeep ruby. Pungent spices, black fruits, minerals, roasted nuts and coffee on the nose. Smooth and thick but solidly structured; faint animal notes in the mouth. Nicely integrated acids and tannins. A vin de garde yet the tannins seem less tough than normal, spreading out nicely on the aftertaste.
