International Wine CellarRuby-red color. Sappy, crystallized black raspberry, blueberry, minerals and camphor on the rather cool nose. Brutally backward and folded in on itself; actually rather creamy in the middle but astringent around the edges. A tough wine in need of a decade or more of aging. Finishes quite tannic, with a note of leafy cabernet franc. Showed more sweetness and texture after 24 hours in the open bottle.
