Wine.comIt's color is of a deep cherry-red, with bluish-violet highlights that show its youth and its nobleness. The complex bouquet has many fruity hints: black and red fruits, ripened by the summer heat. The taste of it gives the evidence of an exceptional structure. Tannins are tight-knit, but softly blended.

Wine Spectator"A very refined red. One of the best Giscours in years. Wonderful aromas of crushed raspberries, blackberries and other fruits. Full-bodied, with very fine tannins and a long, caressing finish. All in finesse. Best after 2001. 20,000 cases made."
