A fabled wine in the mid-90s vintages for its high scores in virtually every published evaluation, this edition of Cinq Cepages has held up well, but it also exposes the high ripeness bent that marked those vintages. At this point, the wine is highly serviceable and is likely to stay that way for four to seven years even though it seems unlikely to improve much from here. $24 and two stars when first reviewed.
