Maturing aromas of toffee, honey and Tokaj like damp earth. Quite concentrated and complex, with mineral and apple flavors approaching full maturity. Rather penetrating acidity gives the wine a firm structural underpinning but clashes with the older flavors. Finishes with a slight phenolic edge. Will this come into better harmony, or is this wine beginning its downward slope?
