Medium red. Mature aromas of chestnut, woodsmoke and tobacco; gives off a gamey, decadent quality as it opens in the glass. Smooth in the mouth but lacks real sweetness. Finishes spicy, but the somewhat tough tannins cut off the wine limited fruit.
