    This vineyard is planted with the classic grape blend of the Medoc: Cabernet Sauvignon (57%), Cabernet Franc (20%), Merlot (21%) with just a few percent of Petit Verdot. The running of the vineyard is quite traditional. The average yield is low and the picking is done by hand. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, but the wines are aged in oak barrels, made by the cooper of Chateau Lafite, 33 to 40% of which are renewed each year.
