The Montrose is now ready. Its tannins have resolved, and its Cabernet fruit has melded with flavors of cedar and earth. Like the Giscours, this is a really fine example of mature Bordeaux, but it shows a touch more depth, marred only by a slight hollowness, but it did come back to finish long. 93 points
